David Ford, Jr. is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Gatemore Capital
Management, LLC, a multi-family investment office based in New York
City. Prior to forming Gatemore, David was an Investment Analyst at
Select Equity Group, a long-only and long/short fund that invests primarily in small- and mid-cap equities.

Previously, David was an Investment Analyst at MSD Capital, LP, the
private money management firm of Michael Dell, where he evaluated
venture capital opportunities in several industries including enterprise
software and consumer Internet services. David began his career in the
Investment Banking Division of Goldman, Sachs & Co., advising on mergers, acquisitions and corporate finance in the technology sector.

David graduated magna cum laude from Amherst College with a B.A. in
computer science and received an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate
School of Business, where he was named an Arjay Miller Scholar.

David lives in Manhattan with his wife, Anne, and his two sons, Render and Jack.
