Mr. Parkhurst currently runs Rates Trading at Centerlight Capital Management, a multi-strategy hedge fund that he co-founded in early 2007. Prior to that, from 2003-2006, he ran the Rates Trading business at Archeus Capital Management. Prior to Archeus, Mr. Parkhurst concluded a 17-year career with Salomon Smith Barney, where he was a Managing Director and, for the last five years, co-head of the US Government Trading Desk. While in this capacity, Mr. Parkhurst also traded the STRIPS and proprietary arbitrage positions of the firm, and represented the industry as the Chair of the Government and Agency Division of the Bond Market Association. In 1999 he testified before the House Ways and Means Committee on the topic of US Government Debt Buybacks. He began his career in the Bond Portfolio Analysis Group at Salomon Brothers, where he was responsible for research and portfolio analytics involving interest rate swaps, swaptions, Eurodollar and bond futures, and interest rate options.

Mr. Parkhurst received his BSE in Mechanical Engineering from Princeton University in 1983. He lives with his wife and four children in Greenwich, CT, where he enjoys squash, tennis, golf and his Labrador retrievers.
