Application Process

NUSEA accepts applications for membership twice a year, on March 1 and September 1. Before submitting a written application, organizations are required to contact NUSEA and request permission. The application review process lasts up to four months. Within one month of the submission deadline, applicant organizations will be notified if their written application has been approved, denied, or is pending approval based on questions arising from the application. If a written application is approved, a site visit will be scheduled by a representative of NUSEA. When reviewing applications, NUSEA reserves the right to make modest exceptions to its membership criteria and to consider factors that are not explicitly described in its membership criteria.
